Welcome to my blog! I like to write about fashion, hair and beauty and reviews. You’ll probably find some information on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning community too, and can read my views on some topical things, or my personal rants and revelations. In this blog I will be aiming to expand my professional credentials through my work and produce material of a high standard to further my chances of employability.

I’m Martyn, I’m 19 years old and I’m a Leo. I’m studying Journalism at University and I plan to continue to do a Masters in Creative Writing or English Studies.
I’m a Youth Worker in the South Wales Valleys which I love – as part of my job I run a Youth Website and am the Editor of my High School’s newsletter. I’ve been a part-time presenter on GTFM 107.9 since 2011 with a monthly youth-orientated show with regular, seasonal, hour-long slots. One day I want to be a Magazine Editor and an Author. I’m also the Founding Director of an LGBTQ group that supports young people 13 – 17 years old in the Valleys.
My biggest Journalistic claim to fame – interviewing McFly! I’ve also interviewed Sarah Earnshaw (Wicked), Sabrina Carter (Wicked), Marti Pellow (Wet, Wet, Wet), Catrin Southall (SAL), Jenna Claridge (Youth Mayor RCT), Jonathan Powell (Charlotte Church’s Boyfriend), Huw Lewis AM, Jane Davidson AM, and some local bands. I’ve been published in the South Wales Echo, Pontypridd and Llantrisant Observer and Plugged In Magazine, and been accepted as a Columnist to two magazines, that unfortunately were never commissioned.
